The MOZART Project has officially held its Final Review Meeting, marking the successful completion of an ambitious, multi-year collaborative journey. We are delighted to announce that the project has successfully passed its final review, representing a major step forward in developing safe and sustainable metal matrix nano-composite coatings as an eco-friendly alternative to hard chromium.
During the meeting, consortium partners presented the comprehensive results of all work packages. The presentations covered everything from initial project management and Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design (SSbD) methodologies to advanced coating development, demonstration activities, market replication, and widespread dissemination efforts. The final discussions highlighted the project’s scientific excellence, technological innovation, and the exceptionally strong collaboration across the entire consortium.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of our partners, the Project Officer, and the reviewer for their invaluable feedback, dedicated guidance, and continuous support throughout the duration of the project.
Congratulations to the entire MOZART consortium on achieving this significant milestone.
