MOZART Contributes to Successful Joint Webinar on Materials Modeling
On June 17th, the MOZART project proudly participated in the joint webinar “Advances in Materials Modeling: From Atoms to Industrial Application,” hosted in collaboration with our sister projects NOUVEAU, NICKEFFECT, and FreeMe.
This engaging event highlighted the latest advancements in multiscale materials modeling, sustainable metallic coatings, and electrochemical process optimization. Representing MOZART, Bart Van den Bossche and Paulo Vieira (Elsyca, BE) presented on:
Macro-scale Modeling of Nickel Dispersion Plating Processes Their talk showcased how modeling techniques at the macro scale are contributing to the development of more efficient, uniform, and sustainable electroplating solutions—one of MOZART’s core objectives.
Key Takeaways from the Webinar:
Cross-project knowledge exchange fosters innovation in atomic and multiscale modeling
Collaborative efforts are accelerating standardization and workflow transferability across sectors
The event strengthened our shared vision of safe, innovative, and sustainable-by-design metallic coatings
We extend our thanks to all speakers, organizers, and participants for making this webinar a success. Together, we’re building the future of materials science—one atom (and layer) at a time.
Stay tuned for more updates from MOZART and our continuing collaboration across the European research community!
