MOZART EU project presented its progress during the 14th International Conference on Surfaces, Coatings, and Nanostructured Materials (NANOSMAT 2023) held in Athens, Greece from July 10th to 14th, 2023.
The conference was focusing on the following main categories:
- Nanomaterials and Nanodevices for Energy,
- Nanoengineering and Nanotechnologies,
- Nanoscience and Nanomedicine.
MOZART EU project participated in the event with a poster presentation with the title “REACH compliant coatings as alternative for hard chromium”, where comprehensive investigation was conducted to evaluate the use of various acids as substitutes for boric acid in nanocomposite electrolytes. The promising results aimed to showcase the development of alternative chemistries such nanocomposite coatings with excellent mechanical, tribological, and aesthetic properties.
The success of the dissemination has been proved as potential stakeholders and industrial partners expressed their interest in MOZART EU project.
